Unfortunately, I have to end 5-3-1 and start a new program specific to something I'm doing with work. I'll be training 6 days a week and will not have time for extensive strength work. I'll be focusing on my endurance and conditioning instead. I loved 5-3-1 and hope to return to it in the near future, but for now, it won't happen.
Monday I start my new program, which I won't be logging. Today I did something of a last hurrah for strength oriented training-the challenge Dan John posted in a recent article about 30 minutes of deadlifts at 315#. I lost count, but I think my number was 114. I'll post video if I can figure out how to work it. I was/am in some serious pain. |
