Could we get some training history? Diet/supplementation? Great physique, would love to know what kind of work has been put into building it.

At which weight do you think you're gonna be stepping in?

Dark Iron - Wow.

Would you mind sharing your off-season workout?

I don't have a particular workout for each body part. I usually do exercises based on feel. Usually, no two workouts are the same. I got through two training periods each off-season, strength and hypertrophy. Each usually lasts 8-10 weeks depending on when I plan to compete. I train a little different from most, or so I've heard. I usually aim for a rep range instead of a rep number. For example I'll do 4-8 during my strength phase and always aim for a higher rep count or weight EACH week and EACH set. I basically do as many as I can with each set and if I go over my range then I increase the weight. Someone described it to me as going to failure for each set, and maybe it is, but it works for me. I train with mainly free weights, heavy free weights. I also stick to the basics. Machines may be done for an exercise or two at the end only for a blood pump. This off-season I did two things differently which benefited me. I ditched the straps, which helped my overall body strength and I also tried the FST-7 workouts. I think both helped tremedously.

I've been training since I was 14, I'm 27 now. I took a year off when I was a senior in highschool and also when I was a junior in college. Up until about 2 years ago I was a 290lb fat powerlifter in denial. I was strong and looked like I had some muscle underneath. It clicked on me during my senior year about diet and I started to eat like a bodybuilder. So I've only been bodybuilding for a year and a half. I competed once in July and placed third in the heavyweights. When I was in highschool I was on a powerlifting team that competed in the AAU. I competed for three years and won three strait state, regional, and national powerlifting championships. So I had a good base.

So basically I've been bulking my entire life. Ive been lifting heavy and using compound movements my entire life. Never much liked machines. I eat alot of protein because carbs tend to make me real fat real fast. This offseason I carb cycled and stayed lean while putting on quality mass. I'd have no carbs for the first three days(except post workout) of the week, except post workout, then carb up the final four. The last being a large carb day. When I was younger I'd eat everything in sight, I was fatter, but I put muscle on easy.

My split looks like this:

Monday- Quads
Tuesday- Back
Weds- Chest
Thurs- off
Friday- Hams/Shoulders
Saturday- Arms
Sunday- off

I try to do calves, abs and fore arms twice a week at least. I don't do much shoulders cuz mine grow easy and are too big in proportion to my chest and arms right now. I havent done traps in a couple months.

My supplementation is basic. Multi, Creatine, Whey, Fish Oil, CLA, Caffeine. I also use 20-30grams of BCAA's peri-workout as polquin suggests.

thanks for all the compliments guys. I'd like to be between 212-220. I'm 238 at 11 weeks out and I just cut my cardio because I was leaning out too fast.

Damn bro that's another level, over 200 in contest shape is just JACKED. It gives me feeling because I also started at 14 (maybe 14 and a half), just out of curiosity, what's your height and what were your stats (bodyweight, lifts, etc...) at 20?

You're my goal man.
