hey man my truck is perfectly capable and looks nice too. Dont start this ford vs chevy vs toyota crap.
Oh yeah, you just opened up a can of corn. The Tundra is so capable that I once rescued one while I was loaded down with 6x 20ft 4x12s (soaking wet DF) and the Tundra was towing a full-size dump trailer. I backed my rig into the bog, threw my chain around his front crossmember and around my hitch and put my rig in 4L and broke that fucker loose without spinning mud. This all dead weight too because his rig refused to turn over. The only rig that a Ford bows to is the Cummins. Everything else is just a toy.

Nobody else repping the Frontier? I got a 2001 Frontier with 206 K on it, still works like a charm. I got 33's and 4WD, autolocking free running hubs. Its my baby i love the heldenfels outta it.

Story time! When I drove to Colorado, I ended up pulling a tour bus(full of passengers) out of a drainage ditch on the side of the road. The driver told me he would pay me $400 to pull 'em out, but after I got him out, he gave me 100. I should've pushed him back in.

No mini trucks on this site?
I am thinking of pulling the drivetrain out of a Lincoln Mark VIII and swapping it into a ranger. With it being an all aluminum motor I would possibly lose weight over the shitty 3.0L. Then yank a 8.8 rear end out of an Exploder or newer ranger and probably the brakes from the Exploder also. What I am not sure of is if I would stay fuel injection or go carb, I would probably stay fuel injection. Shouldn't be hard to get 300 whp out of it, which would be stupidly fun in a 2800-2900 pound truck. What is sad is I could probably get the truck as fast as my TA, with less cash than it would take for me to do a heads/cam swap to the TA.
My best at the track is a 13.10@108 in full street trim on *hitty Riken Raptors. As soon as I get my rear end finished I'm bolting on my MT's and hope for 12.7's. Btw, it's an 2001 Mustang Cobra(naturally aspirated).

Look bro, I could care less really about your heroic stories about ford. I have heard the same exact stories of Tundras pulling out fords and GMC pulling out Dodge, and Chevy's pulling out Tundras. So Big deal. If it really makes you happy to have to bash all other trucks to help justify your purchase then go ahead. I am happy with my Truck and it performs fine. I pulled 9,300LBS from Texas to Washington last year and it did it with ease. I am glad I didn't purchase a truck from one of the big 3. 2 of them filed for bankruptcy and Ford is on the brink! :)

Just messing bro, I hold no harsh feelings toward Yotas. They are proven little performers, but for my tastes when purchasing a real truck I will always sign for a Super Duty. IMO, Tundras are tremendously overpriced for what they are. Always have been. I'll take a King Ranch for 33k than a mere Tundra. Ford is putting right along dude, they are hurting but they arent in line at the government trough.

That's my best ET also. I've put suspension on my car for handling but can still get a 13.1. I'm afraid if I did put some MT's I would pop my 10 bolt.
Do you still have an 8.8" or a 9"? I've read that 8.8" is good for 9-10 seconds runs from the factory.

FUCK YEAH! What are you running in that thing? I had a 91 RX-7 that I threw a 13B-T in that fucker. Never really got any track time in the fucker but when the bends were lending themselves for some sweet action and no cops or pedestrians were around I would take advantage and break that fucker loose. Or at the new Wal-Mart's parking lot. It was a handful though, my buddy's Sileighty was way more responsive than my Rex
