Proof. I want you next to it with the paperwork and a sign saying "For the brotherhood"

If it is actually your ride, FUCK YOU!

That is actually one mean looking car. I'm glad they stayed true to the heritage and didn't make it a minivan with a Challenger emblem.

They should have put the Challenger on the V-Diet. Those things are so heavy, but I love the way they look.

I'm telling you, it drives like Rolce Royce (not that ive ever driven one, but i can imagine that it would be something like that)

@Dedicated: I'm jealous of your Toyota Tundra!! It looks like a mean mofo

Thanks good sir, and the Volvo looks smooth and dependable.

Yup, it's mine.

I actually don't mind the weight, something about driving a big fast muscle car... Just fun, love the way it feels blasting past 120...(which i do prob too often, lol) or launching from a low gear. Just a different experience that say a lighter car with some bolt ons. Plus i just love the look, every angle of it just has some attitude.

btw, there was a cute chick driving a Mustang GT the other day that wanted to race. sufficed to say the challenger just smoked it. We went at it a few times, and actually had another GT and bullet join us. They had some pick up speed but just couldn't keep up past 90mph. :)

But you all should have seen the 98 toyota camry i had prior to this, lol

That's one nasty ride, I'll tell you that.

I really like the 2009 Chevvy Camaro, Mustang Roush and the Challenger...

I hope to buy one of those in the future...

My two running toys, 08 Ninja 650r and 07 VW GTI.

Also have a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, some day I will have the time to get her up and running properly.

I was looking into RWD muscle/import cars but then I realized it would suck in the winter (NJ) so I ended up going with a really fun STi.

Silver - Mine
Blue - Brothers
White - Cousins
Black - Friends

I guess there are no crown vic lovers around here.

I stole this picture off of google images. Mine looks just like this. So far all ive done is cut the exhaust behind the cats (it fucking screams)

Im looking to stuff a 351w in it sometime. And then from there bore and stroke it out with a bigger intake some headers and a bigger cam. You know...the usual.

Sick plans. Maybe you should plan on a two stage nitrous system also! Really scare the shit out of some people.

Oh no, not at all. My buddies and I once bought one at an auction with its "original" colors ($750 bucks split 5 ways) and took it out to another buddy's ranch. We bought a mannequin at Gottschalks and dressed him in a tan clearance work shirt. We then took turns putting as many rounds from various weapons in to it, ran it over with our trucks, tried to pull it apart with said vehicles, and finally blew up the vehicle and finished off the mannequin "southern" style.

My room mate actually wants to do the same thing as a project car. They also are not as heavy as you might think and are popular SCCA cars. There is a thread on Grassroots or Crownvic.net with people posting their cars actual road ready weights, new Vics came in over 4,000 lbs. and old box Vics came in around 3600 lbs.

My best at the track is a 13.10@108 in full street trim on *hitty Riken Raptors. As soon as I get my rear end finished I'm bolting on my MT's and hope for 12.7's. Btw, it's an 2001 Mustang Cobra(naturally aspirated).

That's my best ET also. I've put suspension on my car for handling but can still get a 13.1. I'm afraid if I did put some MT's I would pop my 10 bolt.

Do you still have an 8.8" or a 9"? I've read that 8.8" is good for 9-10 seconds runs from the factory.

It came stock with an independent 8.8, which is good for about 300rwhp and NO drag strip fun. I happened to have a stock(with the exception of 4.10 gears) 8.8 solid axle from my old GT, so I put it in, and its good for maybe 350rwhp on streets. If you build it like I plan to here shortly it can easily take you deep into the 9's. I really havent had the car that long so I'm still not that deep on mods.
As for my suspension, it's completely stock ford material with some ebay special lowering springs. I will have a full UPR set up within a year though.

I forgot about cobras having IRS. So far I've done: QA1 coil overs, Spohn swaybars, Spohn subframes, Spohn panhard bar, Spohn lower control arms. I'm thinking about a strut tower bar and torque arm from Spohn also.

A set of relocation brackets might help with the traction (you probably know that though). And x2 on the piece of crap rears these cars have, mines an M6 so it wont see a set of "real tires" until its replaced by an s60.

I still need to get a torque arm and relocation brackets.

It will take alot of money. But I will make my car drag worthy.....someday.
