IMO, Jameson wins as far as intelligence, sexiness, and acting abilities go, but I would take Alba over Jameson. Alba is only used in movies because she's attractive, and yet she does nothing with it. After making "Good Luck Chuck," she said that she absolutely hated how it came out like a porno film.
So she read the script, saw the amount of sex within it, still decided to do it, then she complains about how graphic it was. Even if she scenes were added later, she still saw what was going on when she was filming them. Even after starring in the amount of utter shit she has, she claims that she wants to be taken seriously. Serious actors don't star in shitty movies. She sounds like a real airhead.
Jameson, on the other hand, sounded perfectly intelligent when she sat down for an interview with Bill O'Reilly. Also, like someone has already stated, she's marketed herself extremely well. So yes, she's slutty, but she's definitely smart. She knows how to promote herself within her field. Jameson is either better or equal to Alba in her acting abilities as well. Every time I see Alba on the screen, I seriously want to shoot myself. She is absolutely terrible at what she does.
I don't think I've ever believed any of her characters. At least Jameson could "suck you in," no pun intended. ;-P Last but not least, Jameson is actually sexy--and I'm not even talking about looks at this point--while Alba can only try to have the same sex-appeal. Yet despite her attempts, she has failed horribly.
Seriously take a critical look at Alba in "Good Luck Chuck." Every scene she does, it honestly looks like an innocent schoolgirl trying to pull off the demeanor of a porn star, which she just can't do. Even still, I think I'd take Alba over Jameson, simply because she's more my type.
