Along the lines of the Favorite Cheat Meal thread...what's the nastiest meal you ever put together?
Mine was a tuna fish shake:
One can of tuna
One can of V-8
Dollop or two of vanilla ice cream
Mighta had some catsup in there too, can't remember
I drank the whole thing. On two different occasions. It wasn't particularly tasty in case you're wondering. |

I cant stand the texture of cottage cheese but I know its godo for me. I blend it into a shake with some water. It used to be pretty nasty to choke down, but I am used to it now. |

I used to make spinach omelettes all the time. I stopped because the spinach would make me gag when eating my eggs. One time I used canned salmon that wasn't drained enough, some eggs, some egg whites, and spinach, and it come out watery then I ended up eating it cold for lunch. I got it down but me eyes were watering.
Now I make salmon cakes w/ the canned salmon which are delicious, and if you use almond meal you can add about 700 calories easy. |

All things tuna, and tuna mixed with brocoli and rice makes a very green stain in the toilet bowl. Spirulina does that also. Not gonna eat tuna again unless it is smothered in mayo and has lots of pickles in it. |

Felt the same way about oatmeals. Any meal that is precooked and microwavable sucks. |

Ugh, that's the worst thing right there. When you over-do the oatmeal and it resembles a hot sticky loaf of bread than what it's supposed to be... all dried out along the edges. Nasty.

I've done tuna cakes before, frozen and thawed/reheated. Ick.
I actually like tuna and peach yogurt, mixed together. |

Overdone oatmeal is my preference! I hate sloppy oats.
Liver and bacon is the worst meal in the world, period. |

Bacon can never be a part of a "worst meal." Bacon makes everything better. |

Some of the old protein powders have made me throw up a couple of times.
I once ate an entire bowl of uncooked oats coated in katsoup, but that was for a dare. |

X2...wrap the worst tasting food in a peice of bacon and yer good to go.
In an act of desperation camping one year we made Ceasars(bloody mary's for you yanks) with ketchup, we ran out of Clamato juice. I thought it was brilliant... fucking awfull but we were already drunk so we choked em' down. Won't do that again. That counts as a meal right?

Tried to make a sheppards pie once, Didn't have enough regular potatoes so I added in Sweet potatoes and mixed them together. Also I sauteed some onions and peppers (don't know why, and did one layer of those). Also didn't have ground beef so I cubed some chicken breasts and fried them with more onion and garlic, that made up another layer.
And then finally before I started layering, I mixed a bunch of butter and brown sugar into the mashed sweet + regular potatoes. Oh I also had one layer of frozen mixed veggies. So it went, potato layer, chicken & onion/garlic layer, Potato layer, Sauteed onions & peppers layer, Potato layer, Mived veggie layer, Potato layer, then I sprinkled some shredded cheeze on top to give it a crusty type top. Baked it.
First bite, Hmmmmmmm, interesting, a little too sweet, weird aftertaste, flavors aren't complimenting eachother the way I thought. 3rd bite, wow way too sweet, this mush in my mouth is really gross. 4th bite, OK thats it, screw this stuff if I eat another bite i'm going to be puking, there is a way too sweet overall flavor mixed with some too strong pepper and onion flavors.
Of course I made a whole caserole dish of it and had to throw it all away.

That's about right. I have a small canister of unflavored protein. I imagine it's what blended paper towel rolls would taste like. |

One time after reading a recipe for a "pumpkin pie shake" on line I decided to try it at home. Of course I didn't print out the recipe and figured I could just add some canned pumpkin to some vanilla whey and be good to go. Not only was it warm, but I also used water instead of milk (damn you lactose!) This was indeed very nasty.
After tweaking a few things I found that chilling the pumpkin, adding a shit load of ice and a few teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice greatly improved the outcome. |

Any meal where you find a foreign object in you're food sucks. Especially the green, crusty piece of what I imagine is troll foreskin I found in my peanut butter a few days ago. |

I was trying to gross out the wife and kids. It worked. They literally were nauseated. I chased 'em all over the house with the evil concoction still in the blender. They ran in abject horror.
When I actually drank it they almost threw up. The gasps and moans of, "Awww Dad...that is SO disgusting..." made it all worthwhile. |
