Sorry if this was addressed somewhere else on the site.
Simply out of curiosity, will there still be daily T-Nation articles? I've noticed that there wasn't one Monday. I know today isn't over yet, but you guys usually have it up by early morning.
In any case, I still appreciate all the free info that T-Nation provides.
I'm not complaining but I'm sure most of us would just like to know whats up.
Best,
MM |

Haha, maybe after 12 years their repertoire of topics/articles has finally run dry.
Maybe one of the MODs will chime in. |

There was a lot of stuff out of stock or on backorder in the store, and I recently got my Power Drive off backorder and shipped.
Maybe business is calling at the moment and the fun stuff like articles is being put off? |

I was thinking the same thing the other day... And then I was like, holy crap, 12 YEARS! I have a lot of reading left to do. In particular, I am quickly becoming a Dan John fanatic... currently trying out his 40 Day Program |

We got tag-teamed yesterday and you still want more? Greedy bastards!
I wouldn't doubt if it had to do with the relaunch of Surge Workout Fuel. |

I don't doubt it coincides with Surge Workout Fuel either, but I'm still struggling to figure out why they wouldn't have an article. They've stated numerous times in the past that they have articles lined up for weeks usually, and unless the person responsible for the website is somehow incapacitated I don't see why I product launch should interfere with uploading one of the articles they have on hand. Before anyone says, "but they have to create the page for it!", well yes I understand that but unless the final layout is kept a company secret until the day of the launch it shouldn't interfere with day to day activities.
Maybe I don't understand the structure of the company, but I'm pretty sure that you don't have Tim Patterson personally putting up the articles himself, which would make me think they have someone to handle the websites day to day activities.
If I'm completely wrong then I'm sorry, but I still don't think the IT guys are the same ones sitting back formulating new products and thinking up catchy slogans for the release. |

Nah, even worse. TC went to his favorite all-you-can-eat Southern BBQ joint and well, let's just say the head office plumbing couldn't handle it.
Guess who got put on mop duty?

Yes SWF. I remember last time this happened and I was like... wait what's going on. Then we got FA3, an awesome 30 minute video atomic Dog and some other k0ol things too so without hesitation we know that when we wait there is always something worth waiting for and as well the Dave and Jim article may be a SUPER-article and kinda count as two... |

This^^
I'm almost positive its cause of the SWF. Maybe just wishful thinking but Mod Brian said it would be out this week.
And to steelechris: I'm pretty sure that putting out a new product is a big deal (in terms of website design). Think about it. They have to revamp the entire product section, revamp all of the side advertisements, and put out a very long product knowledge page and forum. All this while maintaining activity and operation of thousands of forums and article archives. But as you said, I may be way off target. I'm no computer wiz. All of that seems like a lot of work to do in just a few hours though. Or maybe I'm just being defensive cause I love this site too much lol.

Yeah I guess I forgot about a few of those details, but I just don't see the new product being a surprise to them when they are designing the new pages (unless like I said the new products remain more or less a secret to keep from leaking too much information too early). I do appreciate this site though so I'm willing to wait, I'm just hoping its not only the SWF announcement but multiple things in the works.
If its SWF I hope the new formulation is cheaper, I heard the numbers of 60% more servings being tossed around but at the current cost per serving its about $1.10. I hope they can potentially reduce the costs down to $0.75 a serving through the new formulation and maybe bulk packaging so that I can try some of the protocols. If there is a significant reduction I may consider other products as well.

When a new product comes out, it usually makes headlines later in the day as opposed to an article...never a "skipped" day though.
Hasn't SWF gone out of stock before? Not sure why restocking would interfere articles. I remember when they made the huge price adjustments to a bunch of products (the prices you see now) and the daily article ran as usual.
One more thing to consider is, there was an article yesterday. So Monday no article, Tuesday article, and Wednesday no article. If it were the case where they were releasing something new, I would expect a straight dry spell followed by the release of the product.
Again, not complaining, just contemplating.

There is a discussion board on the SWF product page, also there is a forum post in the supplement section call "Wtf, No Surge?"
And to Mr. Martian: They are not just restocking it. Its a whole new product with a larger bulk bottle (60% more) and the liquid flavor for it like the Anaconda.

2 for 5 in articles and we aren't even getting SWF until at least next week (according to Mod Brian, check the discussion from the product page). I don't know what's going on but I've to say, this is quite possibly the worst week ever for the site. I know the whole "but you're getting the information for free" argument that people throw around, but when you have an expected format for visitors you don't break from it or you tend to lose people. I've even resorted to reading bb.com articles and those are terrible!
*Rant Over*
Edit: I guess on average over the last couple months they aren't breaking the 5 a week too much since we were getting articles on Saturday for a bit. |

Drama queen?
I don't know about you, but the change in article frequency this week hasn't negatively affected my life whatsoever. |
