ok man, good luck with that(seriously). Whenever i fail with no spot my right shoulder pops right out of its socket, haha. 3 times now, i like to think i learned my lesson.

I know, right? People who are excited about accomplishing something are just the worst!
Oh and this lift may have been posted to show that he wasn't lifting his butt off the bench (which I had previously thought was a possibility.)

No it can't be that!! It didn't say "This is for Mighty_Mike or w/e his name was saying I lifted my ass off the seat." right above the video.
I can only guess. Tuesday I hit 235x5 with not a lot of difficulty. That's about as I as I go on reps.
how is the deadlift going?
Pretty good. I maxed out 1 week ago and got 440, working on some form issues and I believe I should have 465x1 by the end of the year. Don't quote me tho
haha fuckin pin. Good job man, keep pumpin and remember if something is feelin funny BACK OFF OF THE BENCH PRESS! lol and get your shoulder rehab work in if you arent, cause if you want the bigger bench weights...those little supporting muscles gotta be up to par.
Aside from that make sure you deload off the bench every so often..
Just some advice from a guy who had a major plateau on the bench, followed these rules and saw gains coming back again quickly. lol

I appreciate all the advice and I will definitely do that. I do have to do shoulder rehab since I fractured my collar bone and it never quite healed properly.
Hopefully next week I will be able to push up the convenient 300lbs. We shall see
