Hi Everyone, I just want to share my progress in the last 6 weeks on a program that I put my self into. I coined the term 6P40 for 6 pack by the time I turn 40 years old which is in Januabry 18, 2008. I started October 1,07 and I am on my 6th week. I am doing good so far, I feel good about the progress I have made so far.

A little bit about my self: I started working out about 5 years ago but did not really put a lot of the reasearch and knowledgeI have into practice until now. My workout routine and diet practices were mediocre at best. Things have a changed a bit, I am definitley more dedicated to achieving the physique I've always like (Cut amd mascular). I am putting all the efforts I can into this endeavour.

I work in the IT field, pretty much sitting down the whole day. I am documenting my progress on a website I created, please visit it and give me some feed back if you have the time. http://garbes.us/.../6p40_quest.htm

Picture below is from week one...my next post will be from the 6th week

Hey man,

If im reading your Log correctly, you lost 10 lbs of muscle between week 3 and week 6. And your bodyfat stayed about the same. I would DEF look at what I am doing and start changing somethign up that is ALOT muscle loss.

I think your calories are to low, and I know alot of people find that HIT cardio while on a low carb diet is very Catobolic. So mayeb switch up to somethign liek incline walkign in the morning on an empty stomach and see if that changes anything. You are def getting leaner, but I think you are costing yourself alot of hard earned muscle. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the feedback j62usa...I can explain the sudden lost of 10 pounds, on week 5 I decided to get my own scale and start measuring myself naked and after my morning wee-wee on Monday mornings. It's amazing how clothes and shoes and water can add up to about ten pounds. I used to relly on the scale at the gym but I don't think it is acurate so I decided to get one for my self. I am starting on a T booster stack tomorrow (Alpha Male, REZ-V and ZMA) . I am really curious if this will boost my T levels so I had my T tested today, I will get the results in a few days. I will test again after 4 or 6 weeks to see if it made any difference. Thanks for the feedback again.

I like your term (6p40). I am also on a quest to get a 6p by the time I am 40. I have a little more time than yourself my b-day is july 13 ,2008. You look well on your way. I can see some of your abs already. I hope you don'y mind but I think I will have to use your term. Royalty check is in the mail.

Damn great results man, even better closing in on 40!! You look 30!

You can tell by the pics you didn't lose 10 lbs of muscle, but you can tell you stripped some extra weight off. Good job.

Bigeric, in the beginning of the quest I was using an electronic BF measuring device from Omron that I bought on line for 30 bucks. Don't make the same mistake I did of buying this, not accurate at all. It works by measuring the impedance or resistance on your body mass against a minute electricity that is sent to your body between the two probes on the device. This is very much affected by the amount of liquid in your body at the time of measurement.

In my case, I was getting all sorts of measurement. I am now using a caliper from Accumeasure to measure my BF. I like this device a lot. One the best feature is the "clicker" it controls the amount of pressure that can be applied when clipping your skin fold to take the measurement. If you are thinking of getting one, get this one. It is a lot cheaper too.

In regards to using the term "6P40" go ahead; use it while you still have the chance. My trade mark application hasn't been approved yet. LOL. In any case thanks for the comment and good luck on your own 6P40 Quest. Al
