Tried the Texas Push-up Challenge yesterday after a back workout. Dropped to the floor after my 4th rep on the 9th set. I was at 1:10 when I dropped. I definitely liked this and will certainly be trying to improve on that.

did the Texas pushup challenge after my chest workout. Finished in 1:03... No problems until the final set of 10... will get under 60 seconds next time
.greg.
someone should try the push up, pull up and dip pyramid and post their time.. its definitely way more difficult.
Push up challenge in around 1 min 30 after a leg and abs session, timed on a youtube video though!
I've been doing this with press-ups/chin ups so 1 press up, 1 chin up etc. So far I've failed on the 6th set of chins (after metabolic training though).
Another challenge is the walking lunge challenge: With a partner guy 1 takes a step out and back, re-racks guy 2 does 1, up to 10 and back (obviously this can change according to the size of the area you're working in) in fact this would work with 3 or even 4 guys, albeit with longer rest periods. First one to fail LOSES!!

I tried the push up test yesterday and completed it in 1 minute and 13 seconds. It was harder than i thought it was going to be, but not too bad. A good idea would be to do this with pull ups.
I performed the push up challenge on friday in 1:23. The "ninja" hit me on set 10, which was difficult. Sub 1:00 is very achievable with a little training.
I like the pushup/ pullup combo idea...sounds very challenging.

Did the Texas Push-Up Challenge with my workout partner. He did it in under a minute, and I did it in 1:06 or 1:07. Was going pretty good 'till set 10, last set was slower but still very doable. Will aim for under a minute next time.

I did the 30min DL with 315 the other night. Actually only got to minute 19 with 38 reps because I ripped a callous on my left hand. Otherwise I was pretty confident with it. Will try again with gloves.

Gloves is a good idea. I did the DL challenge today as well. I started after I was done my DL max lift. Not really happy with it. Finished at 35 reps. Ended up using straps after set 10. I'm at a YMCA where we cant drop weights. Lowering the weight sucks! Let it drop on my 10th set and HOLY SHIT!! Loudest thing I've ever heard in the gym. Whats the chance of an Olympic bar breaking from dropping it on the floor? Just cause people started chirping me about breaking the bar and pointing to the "DROPPING WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED" signs.
After doing 50 pushups every morning since my last challenge, I did the challenge again yesterday and finished it in 1:37. Form slacked slightly towards the end but nevertheless, I am pleased with the results. Will continue doing these as a finisher until I get under 1 minute. Thanks for the intro to this challenge Shugs.

My close friend and UFC fighter Tom Lawlor decided to take on one of the challenges discussed by Dan John in the article.
Attached is the video of Tom's 100 rep Deadlift Challenge. He performed 100 reps of conventional deadlift with 315lbs in 30 minutes! All of this was performed at DTS Speed and Strength in Longwood, FL. Special thanks goes out to Jon and Olivia at DTS Speed and Strength (www.dtsperformance.com).
Here is the youtube link and link to Tom Lawlor's website:
The deadlift challenge has really taken off in my gym with several of us attempting it. Highest number of reps thus far is 110...it's a fun, but brutal 30 minutes.
