Got a 270 Bench - Steps to 300?

Hey guys this is good news for me I put up 270 thats real well considering where I was a few years ago, what are the steps needed to achieve a 300 pound bench press by May 15th?

Okay I read BP as blood pressure for some reason and thought you were about to die.

I'd say go on a good bench cycle and try again.

EDIT: they changed the thread title so my post doesn't make much sense.

I was stuck at 270 for a while, and Thibs Beast Building part one program helped me to pretty quickly bust that plateau, and after about four weeks it landed me at 305. I dont know what you're considering, but its worth a shot if you have the time.

Man I need a 300 + bench by May 15th so im willing to do anything. Reason being 300+ is im going to DeFrancos for 5 weeks and I need to bench 300+ man its must for me! My other lifts are fearly well Box Squat 530 Deadlifts about 475

Future,

I'd use the Hepburn 10 Single Routine. Do it once a week. Start around 245 and do 10 singles. Whatever you need rest wise in-between singles. Finish with tricep work. I'd use JM Press for 5x5. Go up in weight each time "by feel". If you get stuck do a 5x5 one week and go right back to 10 singles the following week.

Remember that you want to do bench 300+ for a SINGLE. Lots of reps have their place, but practice the way you want to play. And that is by benching singles! Good luck.
