On 11/14 I'll be heading up to TPS outside of Boston for a training day with Matt Rhodes. 910 lb. bencher Robert "Tee Tee" McCray will be joining us, as well as Karsten "DD" Luca. If you want to train with us you are welcome to do so. I think it's $20 a head to cover the gym fee and some expenses. Keep in mind, this is not a seminar. That's not to say advice won't be given, but for the most part it's just an excuse for a bunch of lifters to get together and push some heavy weight. I remember doing these with Bill Crawford and Sebastian Burns with the Metal Militia. We used to have a blast and learn a lot from just training together. If you can make it, you'll have a good time.

Hey vincent,
My name is Jared, I QnA'ed you a few times since you got started on the EFS board. I'm by no means a big time lifter and I'm just getting to learning how to bench multi. My best #'s are a 265 raw and 365 2board. I just have some issues in the shirt, namely that its the supposedly right size but i can touch 275 to the chest in it. Would it still be cool to come up? I want to train but not be a hindrance at all.

That is very cool that you are offering the chance to train with and learn from some big time lifters. I just wish I was in the area.

its getting there. i was scared shitless for a while thinking it was a disc issue. but it healed up slowly. ive been squatting regularly and pulling every other week from different heights and nothing conventional yet. I have been benching consistently though; trying to take the time to learn my shirt. i had to push back my first meet though =/
thanks for checking in.

Strength is relative my friend. I'd welcome someons who is benching the bar. We don't get stronger unless we share in the journey together. Get your ass to TPS.
