how does MAG-10 protein taste? i bought peptopro for the time being, got it with chocolate peanut butter cup flavoring- it is disgusting. it tastes like cold oil-soaked french fries.
also, any chance you know of anything i can add to this so it's not so vile? maybe along the lines of those crystal lite mixers?
thanks |

It actually taste as good as Kool-aid, seriously. Biotest uses a liquid flavor system that makes it much easier to make CHY protein taste great |

Thanks for the reply CT, now I am very interested in the MAG-10 protein. This peptopro tastes ridiculously gross. I actually made the statement yesterday, "if this was the last food source left on earth, I'd quickly choose death". Somewhat of an exaggeration, but still...gross. |

I bought the pepto pro as well. My opinion is to by regular flavorless and just mix it. I use the great value brand juice powders. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than crystal light and has no carbs, calories, sugar, or sweetners. I prefer the darker colored juice like cherry, rasberry or grape. They tend to cover the taste a lot better.
BTW flavorless by itself tastes like someone puked in a shaker cup drank it then puked it back up in your shaker cup. |

I really hope the price isn't in-line with Grow!
My cabinet in the kitchen is starting to look like a Biotest supplement store, but I'm sure I have room for some MAG-10 protein. |

This tastes like Gatorade and Kool-aid only without the ton of sugar. Honestly, if it didn't at least taste half way decent, it would be much harder to get that much liquid down in a day. |

Sounds promising. I have Pepto-Pro's lemon-lime, it's not good at all but it is certainly not one of those gag-inducing drinks. I can easily take a big gulp of it and do a set of bench press seconds after. Regardless, I'll be buying MAG-10 anyways... if the price is right. |

The lemon lime pepto isn't that bad.
Suck it down whimps.
Still, kool aid sounds much better. |

Turns out, they sell the flavoring to put in shakes for reasons like this. They suggested their dutch chocolate flavoring. The guy also told me that most people order the peptopro in fruit flavors, so if MAG-10 protein isn't released by the time I run out of the peptopro, ill order a fruit flavor next time, and probably extra flavoring. |

Again, MAG-10 is more than simple CHY... while peptopro is a fine CHY, it is just that, nothing more. |

it is my opinion that all level 5 customers should have access to these supplements, just a thought, while we may not be elite athletes we are the ones financially supporting the organization. |

I'm pretty sure you will, once they are actually released... Otherwise Biotest would be creating a weird exclusive club that you get into by spending lots of cash. Biotest Platinum? I don't think anyone wants certain supplements to be available only to the select few. It is my understanding that the only reason some people have had access to Anaconda and other new goodies for a while (CT, Dave Tate if I remember correctly, etc.) is so that they can be thoroughly tested "in the trenches".

Oh? I thought MAG-10 was the CHY while Anaconda was that plus other goodies. Kind of excited now to see what else is in MAG-10. |

Correct. All of Dave's athletes are on Anaconda, MAG-10, Workout Fuel, Curcumin, Alpha-GPC and Flameout.
3 of my own guys (competitive bodybuilders) and myself are on the same package. The goal is indeed to see how the supplements work in the real world, with 'fringe intensity' level athletes! Which is one of the reasons why we actually were able to fine tune the protocol. |

Thibs, In the short-term, what do you think of adding pepto-pro to SWF prior to my workouts? This of course would follow a couple Finibars.
Thanks! |

That would be the least-bad second option. Although you would still be missing part of the equation. But you have 2 out of 3 sides covered, at least to some extent. |

Do you guys use Finibars?....probably you forgot to write it down....

Yes I use them (look at the 'what I am doing now' thread). What gets you bloated is probably the water though. As I mention I'm a drinking machine. And I honestly believe that the more fluid you can drink, the better anabolic response you'll get. So I would suggest gradually working on your drinking capacity.
Although the new protocol uses only 1 shake instead of 3, so it makes it easier. |

Probably a few, I'm not the one taking the calls. I wouldn't delay for too long if you wanna come... it's almost free anyway. |

Thibs,
If you take CHY instead of whey protein shake during the day, do you use what would be the equivelant amount of whey protein in your total daily protein intake calculations? I've heard the amount of 12g of CHY being compared to 40g of whey protein, is this accurate?
Thanks |

For protein pulsing effect purposes, he did say that. |
