Well a good fighter should strive to be powerful no matter now much space he has...makes it really usefull for infighting. Though this guy kinda looks like a douche bruce lee wanna be and his students look like weak ass bitches so idk man. Also they are standing straight up with no real stance.
By the way those two skinny teenagers were not even warned of what was about to take place. At least when Bruce Lee made the one inch punch famous in Long Beach CA. in the 60's the willing subjects were warned of what to was occur.
He wanted me to join a little while back, but not only was he a shitty instructor with no facility or equipment (we met at a local park), but he wanted me to pay him a fee of $10,000 up front, and $365 a year after that so I could become a Wing Chun instructor and open up my own Wing Chun school. Oh yes, and he said he could do this for me in 21 days of training.
Now I'm a Kyokushin Karate man myself, with no Wing Chun experience, so his offer seemed slightly farfetched. It was almost as if he got in a fight with permanent marker and lost, resulting in "McDojo" written upon his forehead.
Anyway, I don't really know the point of this thread. Perhaps only to point out that there are retards that scam people. Obviously, he's still doing it so he must have duped some people. It's a sad, sad world.
That looked liked he pushed them! One inch punch my arse!!
I hate it when people give Martial Arts bad names. WC has some very good techniques and applications but if you have some dick like that teaching you you won't learn the real WC, all you will learn is how to lose a fight!
He can't even speak properly.
funny as shit! im a wing chun instructor, and my abs are pretty flabby (i love beer what can i say!) guess im not doing it right, wing chun that is! and that one inch punch guy, hes trying to do a draw, but pretty bad at it, hes not even rooted, and no return on punch. but anyway, what do i know!

the YouTube is bullshit, but years ago I met a guy who was some kind of martial arts badass (he never said this about himself, all his friends said it about him)
We got to talking an I asked him about the "One Inch Punch"..and could he demonstrate on me...he didn't want to but I kept pestering him, so by the end of the afternoon he agreed to do it. He made me get a phone book and hold it over my solar plexus, got set up, put his fist one inch from the phone book and fucking EXPLODED! It was way more violent than what was shown in the video. I was prepared for it, and I guess I outweighed him by maybe 20#, and he knocked be back a good step and a half.
So, it's out there I guess. I have been hit by some pretty hard punches, but have never experienced anything like this.
The one inch punch is real (not in that vid) but as mentioned it is about kinetic linking through from the floor to the fist.
Bruce used to train with a wooden pole that had a lose weight on it, you tense the whole chain of the punch in a wave and the weight flicks to the end of the pole.
It was not meant to be a fighting technique so much as a demonstration of why you need to punch solidly from the floor up.
